While on-site, we observed the foundation excavation at 28803 HWY 6 & 24 in Rifle, Colorado, The foundation subgrade soils appeared to be native, undisturbed, silty sands with gravels. In addition, the excavation appeared to be free of any organic or deleterious materials. Based on our observations, the foundation subgrade appeared to generally conform with project plans and specifications.
