Dear Andy, The Integrated Vegetation and Noxious Weed Management Plan for this project are acceptable in regards to noxious weeds. Staff requested a site specific reclamation plan and
a seed mix. The seed mix was provided on September 18, 2013. The submitted noxious weed map indicates the presence of the stale and county listed noxious weed, spotted knapweed. Staff
requests that the applicant remove and bag all mature, seeded spotted knapweed plants prior to any construction. The surface area to be reseeded has been quantified as 23.78 acres. Staff
recommends a revegetation security of $59,450 (23.78acres x $2500/acre). The security shall be held by Garfield County until vegetation has been successfully reestablished according
to the Reclamation Standards section in the Garfield County Weed Management Plan. The Reclamation Standards at the date of permit issuance are Cited in Sections 4.06, 4.07 and 4.08 of
