LAEA 6815) PARCEL NO.: 2123-351-00-072 Recitals A. Garfield County is a legal and political subdivision of the State of Colorado for which the Board of County Commissioners is authorized to act. B. Pursuant to law, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County has appointed the Garfield County Planning Commission. C. The affected property is more fully described on the attached Exhibits A and B. D. Pursuant to Section 4-112 of the Garfield County Unified Land Use Resolution of 2008, as amended CULUR"), and C.R.S. § 30-28-IIO(l)(a) the Planning Commission is required to review the proposed location and extent of a public building to detennine whether the building confonns with the County's Master Plan. E. In accordance with state law, the Planning Commission has adopted a Master Plan. The Master Plan applicable to this Petition is the Garfield County Comprehensive Plan of2030, as amended ("Comprehensive Plan"). F. The Planning Commission opened a public hearing to consider the Petition on May II, 2011. G. The Planning Commission closed the public hearing on May 11,2011 to make a final decision. H. The Planning Commission, on the basis of substantial competent evidence produced at the aforementioned hearing, has made the following detenninations offact: I. Proper notice of the public hearing on the Petition was provided as required by Sections 4-112(G) and 4-103(F) of the ULUR. 2. The Planning Commission detennined that the project confonns to the Comprehensive Plan. 3. Pursuant to Section 7-102 of the ULUR, as amended, the Planning Commission detennined that the project is consistent with intergovenunental agreements between the County and local municipalities in the area where the use will occur. 4. The findings of the Planning Commission were communicated to the Applicant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of Garfield County, as follows: I. The foregoing Recitals are incorporated by this reference. 2. That portion of the location and extent is described on Exhibits A and B attached hereto. 3.
