I want to apologize for not being at the inspection on Friday, my boss had to unexpectedly leave and I was forced to stay at work all day. I also wanted to apologize for not having the rebar tied, the two men I hired to complete that assured me they would have it finished by noon. This weekend Bill Hokanson took measurements off the existing house to provide some details into the exact location of the new garage (the new garage remains exactly parallel to the existing house). When the foundation type/design was changed by the engineers we elected to move the garage "forward" (north towards Larkspur) to provide more room for grading the SW comer upon completion. The garage is approximately 4' II" further North or closer to Larkspur than the original design. During this process the garage was also moved 16" further West than the original design. The western wall of the new garage is now 37'4" off the existing house versus 36'. The SW corner off the garage is within the building envelope by approximately 4'8" on the west corner and 4'7" on the south corner. I provided an attached picture with the new location highlighted in respect to the original site plan. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can provide any clarifications. I am also working with Dan Hardin at HP to get him to send you a memo regarding the structural fill and compaction. When all of this was discussed between HP and my structural engineer they said if we waited 30 days for compaction/settling we would not have to have a soils test. Upon a successful inspection of the foundation, we are set to pour the slab on Thursday morning. 1 was planning on calling in an inspection request this afternoon for tomorrow. Again thanks for your patience and help saving on some additional costs. We also allow the workers to use the bathroom facility in our house. Mark Favro 303-453-9579 1 '\. " \' "\
