HomeMy WebLinkAbout1.09 Miscelaneous UtilitiesSection 4:90 Miscellaneous Utilities ELECTRIC -Holy Cross Energy is the electric provider for Battlement Mesa. An "Intent to Serve" letter is attached. An existing three-phase power
line is located along the easterly edge of Stone Quarry Road adjacent to the wasterly property line, as well as along the southerly edge of South Battlement Parkway. Overhead power lines
run parallel to County Road #302 and County Road #308. New electric lines will be extended from the existing system to provide power to the new residential and commercial lots within
lots within the development. GAS -Xcel Energy is the gas supplier in Battlement Mesa. There is an existing gas line along the easterly edge of Stone Quarry Road. New gas lines will be
extended along both sides of the interior roadways to provide service to each one of the lots. . TELEPHONE -Quest is the current service provider for telephone service in Battlement
Mesa. An existing Quest telephone cable is located within the right of way for South Battlement Parkway as well as in Stone Quarry Road adjacent to this property. New telephone lines
will be extended, in a jOint trench with the electric and cable television lines, throughout the development. CABLE TELEVISION /HIGH SPEED INTERNET -Comcast Mesa is the service provider
for cable television at Battlement Mesa. They have also made high speed internet service available throughout the development. As this project is developed, new cable will be installed
in a joint trench with the electric and telephone lines throughout the development, giving all of the residences access to both cable television and high speed internet service. Letters
of Intent to Serve for each one of the utilities are included within this application. More specific information regarding the layout of the miscellaneous utilities will be provided
with subsequent preliminary plan applications for each one of the residential areas
