Rocky received a driveway permit from Road & Bridge (GRB13-D-3) for the entrance in March, 2013_ He has met all the requirements tied to this permit. Rocky and I have walked the site addressing the drainage. Their is a culvert across County Road 115 that drains onto his property. He has rocked from the outlet of this culvert and his lot to help address erosion. The culvert drains into his lot approximately two thirds up from the entrance. The engineering dept. did a project along CR 115 a couple of years ago. During that project they new that this lot would be developed at some point, so they installed a culvert with a debris catcher on the inlet side. It was with the intent that everything would be carried along the hill side of this lot and dump into this culvert at the entrance. When Rocky did the asphalt apron at the entrance I had him do a V-pan in the asphalt to keep any water or debris off of CR 115 should this inlet become plugged. The only thing I might suggest is some check dams or settling ponds along the ditch to slow the speed of the water and to catch debris from his lot before it reaches the County road.
