Garfield County Building Department 109 Eighth Street Glenwood Springs, CO Re: John Martin Owner Modular Office Building Elder/Quinn & McGil, #7444 C.R.I00 Garfield County Dear Andy:
I have reviewed the structural conditions ofthe manufactured office to be relocated near the Mid-Continent mine on County Road 100 with regard to its structural integrity for conformity
with the structural engineering regulations and requirements for material of construction (2003 IBC). It is my opinion that when placed on a new foundation of adequate size and strengt
for the new soils conditions it will conform with the structural engineering regulations an equirements for material of construction (2003 IBC). Please call with any questions. Lawrence

Mr. John Martin P. O. Box 1252 Carbondale, Colorado 81623 155 Main Street Carbondale, Colorado 81623 (970)j963-4896 or (970) 948-1461 (cell) January 25, 2005 RE: Inspection of Modular
Office Building Dear John: On January 24, I personally inspected the Modular structure mentioned above which is currently located by the load scales at the gravel pit presently operated
by LeFarge on Highway 82 north of Carbondale. The purpose of my inspection was to determine the structural integrity ofthe building and whether it meets Garfield County rules governing
the relocation of such buildings within the county. In my opinion, the building meets all criteria and is structurally sound in all respects. The building is a 24' wide by 74' long modular
which was manufactured on March 19, 1990 by Elder/Quinn & McGil, Inc, 4800 Race St., Denver, Colorado 80216 and carries a serial mnnber of#7444. It has a 4/12 pitch gable roof composed
of engineered half trusses which have been mechanically "stitched" at the center where the two halves are joined. The floor system is composed of2X8 joists which are supported by longitudinal
I-beams fur transport. Exterior walls are of2X6 construction and all windows are double-paned and exceed criteria for egress and provide adequate natural light in all occupied areas.
It is assumed that the present foundation system and exterior foundation walls will be replicated once the modules are relocated at the loading facility on County Road 100 which was
formerly owned by MidContinent. My previous experience with Elder Modular buildings is that they are of superior manufacture and quality in all respects. Obviously, upon relocation of
the building and "re-stitching" upon a suitable foundation system, the building must be inspected by a County Building Inspector. I trust that this information shall be sufficient for
your intended purpose and remain ready to furnish any additional information needed or required. Sincerely yours, t\ a IJ, 'J>'" j , r1/;-n-( :V~"" Don C. Wisdom, B.C.E. CclLawrence
