American Concrete Institute's, "BuDding Code Requirements for Struclural Concrete (ACI31a.05)" C. 2006 INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE D. SLAB DESIGNED FOR UNIFORM LOADING PROVIDED BY Colorado Precast 2. The structural plans have been dimensioned fully showing the edge-of-slab and locations of structural members. Dimensions are part of the engineered product but are not generated or determined by KLG. The dimensions are taken from the construction documents provided to KLG by the archilecL Priorio construction the GenerallPost-Tenslon Installer shan provide the architect with a set of KLG's structural plans for hlslher review. An approved or approved as noted plan must be provldecllo KLG from the architect before KLG will release the "fQrConslructlon" set of structural plans, 3. This structure Is designed with a 2 hour lire rating unless otherwise noled. The follOwing minimum covers for posl-tenslonlng tendons have been used throughout the structure as per the I.B.C. 10 achieve the 2 hour fire rating: a) Unrestrained: 1-112" 4. All drawings and design are the exclusive property of KLG Corporation and are not to be reproduced, modified, or copied without written consenL The design Is for the Post-Tensioned portion of the structure only and does not pertain to any other part of the structural design (I.e. lateral, vertical, foundaUons etc.). MATERIAL CONCRETE: 1. Concrete must mach a minImum compressive strength of 5,000 psi In 28 days unless oUlerwise noted. 2. Stressing will not be allowed unll1 a minimum slrength of3.7S0 psi Is attaillBd. 3. Concrete mix desIgn and materials shall conform 10 the latestACI codes 318 and 301. 4. Type II concrete Is to be used exclusively unless noted otherwise. Refer to soils report for additional recommendations rerdlrQ foundation concrete type. 5. No additives shall be used that Is detrimental to the 26 day compressive design strength or to any of the structural rainforcement. All additives to concrete not induded in \he approved mi:-: design must be approved by KlG bafore use In mix. Any additives with calcium-chloride Is slricUy prohibited. 6. The concrete mix design shall be provided to KLG by the General/Concrete COntractor for approval priorlo pouring, Pouring before KlG's approval of the concrete mbt design is at the General/Concrete Contractor's risk and !he General/Concrete Contractor shall, if necessary, bear all costs to remove and replace unacceptable concrela. REINFORCING BARS: 1. All reinforcing bars will be ASTM A615-76, grade 60. 2. All reinforc1ng steal shall be bent, detailed and supported as per the latest ACt Detalfing Manual. (Publlcatk.m SP-66) 3.
