A Bui ld ing Pe r mit cannot be issued w ithout proof of lega l an d adequate access to th e property for purposes of inspections by t he Building Division. Other Permits. Void Permit. A Building Perm it becomes null and void if the work authorized is not commenced within 180 days of t he date of issuance and if work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after commencement.
