LA 7i055 omce (B00) 824-2614 Fax (318) 371-9210 WMv.fibrebond.co1n Attached is the Plan Approval for the above referenced project Tiie COMCheck Certificate for this building shows that the Envelope fails. We have attached .an analysis report from MKK Consulting Engineers, Inc. regarding this building. The results of their analysis show that "there is no energy savings achieved by increasing the wall and roof insulation R-values .... Increasing the R-values traps more heat within the bui.lding and more cooling is required to maintain the space temperature." For this reason we are submitting this shelter as it would have been constructed using the 2009 IECC criteria in COM Check. We request that your office accept this reduced R- value based on the annual energy consumption. Please feel free to contact me at (318)-371-6319 if you have any questions or concerns.
