RE: 12' x 15' Shelter - Hunter Ridge — Condensate Pump House
Dear Rock,
As requested, San Engineering has completed an energy compliance analysis of the proposed shelter for Hunter Ridge
Energy Services, LLC and Gas in Garfield County. A summary of our findings and the analyses are as follows.
Energy Compliance Analysis
An energy compliance analysis of the building envelope has been performed using COMcheck Software Version
3.9.2.5, published by the Department of Energy.
The unit is designed for this specific location in Garfield County and will be installed on permanent foundations. The
unit is not intended to be relocated to any other site.
The code used in our analysis was:
• 2009 International Energy Conservation Code.
Our results indicate that the shelter is 3% better than the code requirements for buildings of this nature, based on
the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code.
In order to achieve compliance, a minimum of 2" of spray applied polyurethane foam insulation will be added to the
spaces within the skid frame. Insulation materials specifications are included in the energy analysis section.
