FOOTINGS AND FROST LINES The Vector Dynamics Foundation System can be placed directly on top of the ground after clearing all loose vegetation. Vector Foundation pads may be placed above the frost line when the home is to be provided with a perimeter foundation or skirting having insulation properties sufficient to prevent freezing of the soil. Foot- i'tgS must be consistant with home manufacturers' instructions and/or state requirements. FOUNDATION/FOOTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR VECTOR PADS 111e size or the footing for each Vector Foundation pad pier location, is two square feet. Vector Pads are used in place of conventional foundation pads. One set of two Vector Pads provides two square feet of bearing support, three Vector pads used together provide three square feet of bearing support. Vector Systems should be spaced as symmetrically as possible along the length of the home. For pier locations in between the Vector Systems, use the normal foundation pads. Pier spacing must be consistant with home manufactur- ers' Instructions and/or state requirements. LUMBER/MOISTURE -TERMITE SHIEL.D To cut lumber (2-2x4's or 1 -4x4 per Vector system) for the center compression section,when using concrete blocks for piers, measure center to center frame (1-beam) distance and subtract 16".
