I 37 April 13, 1977 Application is hereby made for a special use permit to allow the creation and existence of an automobile service station on the property described herein, as a special use under the zoning classification Commercial/Limited. 1. NAME OF APPLICANT: The name of the applicant is C & D SERVICE COMPANY,, INC, Colorado corporation. 2. LOCATION OF PROPERTY: The location of the property is at the intersection of Old State Highway No. 82 and the new State Highway No: 82 (four lane) approxi- mately·200 yards south and east of the Modern Cabinet Shop. The legal description of the property is: A tract of land situated in Lot 9 of Section 1, Township 7 South, Range 89 West of the 6th Principal Meridian lying southwesterly of the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad (Aspen Branch) and north- easterly of a county road as constructed and in place (Old State Highway Number 82) described as follows: Beginning at a point on the northeasterly line of said road whence an iron post with brass cap found in place and properly marked for the south- east corner of said Lot 9 bears s. 57°48 1 55'' E. 179.49 feet; thence N. 53°23'00" W. 383.32 feet along the northeasterly line of said road; thence N. 00°34 1 00" w. 69.20 feet; thence along the arc of a curve to the right 429.71 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0.33 acres, more or less. 3. PURPOSE: The purpose of this application is to allow a special use under the zoning classification Commercial/Limited, which is the present zoning classification of the subject property, whereby an automobile service facility may be located on the subject property property in conjunction with a convenience store which the applicants intend to erect on the property. 4. ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS: The adjacent property owners who are entitled to notice of this proceeding because they own property located within 200 feet of the boundaries of the subject parcel are: Roy Rakich 5311 Road 154 Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601 Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad Co. ATTACHMENTS: There is attached to this application a map drawn from an actual survey made by Scarrow and Walker, Land Surveyors, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, which depicts the property, its legal description, the proposed location of the improvements and the the adjacent property owners.
