HomeMy WebLinkAbout2.0 Conditions of ApprovalBond No.: 6611500 RECLAMATION (REVEGETATION) BOND KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the undersigned Chevron U.S.A. Inc. as Principal and Safeco Insurance Company of America as Surety are held and firmly bound unto Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, as Obligee in the penal sum of Fifty Three Thousand, Two Hundred Fifty and No /00—($53,250.00) for the payment of which, well and truly to be made the said principal and the said Surety, bind themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. WHEREAS, the Principal has applied for Garfield County Pipeline Development Permit for a 5.3 mile Utility Corridor forProduced Water Disposal Pipeline and Fiber Optic Conduits and the Garfield County Vegetation Director has required a Revegetation bond securing Principal's performance under the "Garfield County Weed Management Plan" as a condition of approval of the Garfield County Pipeline Development Permit for the Utility Corridor for Produced Water Disposal Pipeline and Fiber Optic Conduits, all as more specifically set out in the Garfield County's Building and Planning Department report dated February 20, 2009. NOW, THEREFORE, if such permit is granted and if the Principal shall faithfully perform its duties under the terms of the permit, then this obligation shall be null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect. PROVIDED, that if Surety shall so elect, this bond may be cancelled as to subsequent liability by giving thirty (30) days notice in writing to both the Principal and Obligee.
