KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that the undersigned Chevron
U.S.A. Inc. as Principal and Safeco Insurance Company of America as Surety are held and firmly
bound unto Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, as Obligee in the
penal sum of Two Hundred Eighty Three Thousand, Two Hundred Fifty and No /00—
($283,250.00) for the payment of which, well and truly to be made the said principal and the said
Surety, bind themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, jointly and
severally, firmly by these presents.
WHEREAS, the Principal has applied for a Pipeline Development Permit for
"Clear Creek Utility Corridor" for a 104.1 acre utility corridor and a 9.2 acre staging area and the
Garfield County Vegetation Director has required a Revegetation bond securing Principal's
performance under the "Garfield County Weed Management Plan" as a condition of approval of
the Pipeline Development Permit for the Clear Creek Utility Corridor, all as more specifically set
out in the Garfield County's Building and Planning Department report dated May 20, 2009.
NOW, THEREFORE, if such permit is granted and if the Principal shall
faithfully perform its duties under the terms of the permit, then this obligation shall be null and
void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
PROVIDED, that if Surety shall so elect, this bond may be cancelled as to
subsequent liability by giving thirty (30) days notice in writing to both the Principal and Obligee.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Principal and Surety have hereunto set their hands and seals this
23rd day of June, 2009. The effective date of this bond is June 23, 2009.
