CC SIS23 970.963.377B.i;:.rc:n(iuenceap:h;te::ttre.;;om Orin Moon called me last evening and we had good and detailed conversation. The gist of the conversation is that he saw no major items of concern in the plans. He had some minor comments as follows: 1. He did mention that he is concerned that the property gate is locked at night. A knox padlock or other method for fire department access at night should be added. 2. He will review extinguishers, knox box, exit signs indicated on the plans but initially it is good to see them there. 3. He did have a concern about lack of firefighting water supply on the entire property, but did not see how a permit for tenant improvement for one part of one building on the property could address this concern. 4. We will need to supply a hazardous material form as supplied be the fire department. 5. Lights to be attached to ceiling or Tight structure with non-combustible materials. He has just started the plan review and will send out a formal review as he finishes. But knowing this information, it could be possible to begin renovation work and not have a significant risk of changes requested by the fire department. Angela Loughry Architect, LEED AP BD+C 1
