REF: NORM HISTAND SEWAGE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
Dear Mr. Kinkade:
Enclosed are calculations for the sewage treatment
improvements for Norm Histand whose property is
south of Glenwood.

2 mobile homes with occupancy of 10 persons.
10 persons x 75 gallons x 1.5 safety factor = 1125 gals.
Sewage to be standard strength domestic sewage.
PERCOLATION TEST
A percolation test as conducted by our firm gave a
rate of l" in 8 minutes. The test was run in the
new dry well hole in a mixture ofriver rock and
a sand/soil mixture, this area being approximately
100 yards from the Roaring Fork river.
Our proposal is for a 1250 gallon Cavitette sewage
plant to replace the failing 500 gallon septic tank.
The effluent will flow into the existing 15' diameter
dry well and then into a new 151 dry well in series
and adjacent to the old dry well.
