Since no final inspection was ever conducted on the facility and since the system was designed by a Professional Engineer, it is acceptable under the code to final the permit by means of a letter of inspection by the designing engineer. If you are familiar with the system and can forward to us a letter that it was installed in compliance with your plans and specifications, we would greatly appreciate it. If we can be of any additional assistance, please let us know. Sincerely, ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT Lamont L. Kinkade, R.P.S. It should be further noted that such uniquely designed and custom built facilities for the treatment of otherwise normal sewage Will in all probabilitycost 3 - 4 times as much as exist- ing, proven, off-the-shelf units. As a result,of this severe cost differential I would recoMmend that every consideration be given to utilizing existing equipment in order to provide the required degree of sewage treatment commensurate with the eco- nomic realities of today's economy. Please return the application to this office at your earli- est convenience. If we can be of any possible further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Yours very truly, Lamont L.
