The site plan does not show contours or Indicate how the house will be located height-wise relative to the driveway or any other feature. By looking at ti site, it appears there Is only about 6 feet of fall from the front of the house to the rear so it Is conceivable the main level ftoor could be 4 feet above the existing grade at the front of the house. When determining this elevation we hope you are sensitive to the fact that your house will be highly visible to eveiyone driving up wooden deer road and the more you can push the house Into the ground, the better it will look. Also, as we had discussed previou~y, the house appears to straddle an existing drainage area; please make sure the drainage above the house is properly rerouted. 2. It appears all of the south and west elevations have cement fiberboard as the exterior finish. While this could be a nice look, it also requires frequent maintenance; the sun Is veiy brutal on these exposures. The homes built so far have been stucco and as far as I know, everyone has been happy with Its maintenance free quality. 3. You will need to install a water meter. Location and specifications will be provided later. overall, the design looks good. We hope you get off to a great start this falll Please contact me if you need anything.
