The field welding, bolting, and fastening inspected above appeared to be in general conformance with the drawings, and appeared to meet the quality requirements of the AWS Structural Welding Code & the AISC Specification for Structural Joints Using ASTM A325 or A490 Bolts except as noted below. 1) It appeared that the roof hip connections needed welded where only one bolt was installed at the roof level grid line 1.6. 2) Noticed that some screws needed to be installed at varies Locations metal framing (purlins/rafters, metal studs, etc.). 3) It appeared that some floor joists needed welded to the metal studs grid lines 21 & 34. 4) A wall was removed/not installed at the build' kewed area upper level. Also visually inspected the field welding at two metal stud connections at this wall. To the best of my knowledge this completes the special inspections of the metal frame of the building as outlined in reports 1 thru 3. To the best of my knowledge the metal frame of the building, structural field welding, and high strength bolting inspected as outlined in reports 1 thru 3 met the quality requirements of the IBC, AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code, and the RISC Specification for Structural Joints Using ASTM A325 or A490 Bolts. Visually inspected the high strength bolting at most of the canopy connections. The field welding, bolting, and fastening inspected above appeared to be in general conformance with the drawings, and appeared to meet the quality requirements of the AWS Structural Welding Code & the AISC Specification for Structural Joints Using ASTM A325 or A490 Bolts. Note as noted in report #1 item #4 a wall was removed/not installed at the building skewed area upper level. The contractor or owner was suppose to contact the structural engineer to see if this was acceptable or if additional support might be needed. -Pal (--tkti-oto 4f, n1 AS 0,) — Inspector/ Technician: Douglas E Young you frni.
