RE: Glenwood Commercial Communication Facility (8118108) Special Use Permit Application
Dear Karl:
As you are aware, on August 18th, 2008 the Board of County Commissioners approved your clients
request for a Special Use Permit to allow a "Communication Facility" with the following conditions:
1) That all representations made by the Applicant in the application and as testimony in
the public hearing before the Board of County Commissioners shall be considered
conditions of approval, unless specifically altered by the Board of County
Commissioners.
2) That the Applicant shall be obligated to meet with the residents to determine what
time of day is most suitable for the regularly scheduled maintenance running of the
generator. If a time cannot be agreed upon by the neighbors and Verizon Wireless,
then Verizon Wireless can choose a time that best suits their needs.
3) That the proposal specifically incorporates the reduction of the four antennas on the
east end of the building to two antennas;
4) A roof cupola shall enclose the antennas located on the east and west ends of the
building;
5) This action taken by the Board of County Commissioners includes the revocation of
the Special Use Permit memorialized in Resolution No. 2008-11;
6) A sign identifying the existence of a communication facility shall be placed at the
entrance of the subject property and on the building housing the facility.
