HomeMy WebLinkAbout5.0 Resolution 2001-13i IIIffil 111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 77871 03/20/2001 02:51P 81238 P889 M ALSDORF i of 2 R 0.00 D 0.00 GARFIELD COUNTY CO STATE OF COLORADO )ss County of Garfield At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners for Garfield County, Colorado, held in the Commissioners' Meeting Room, Garfield County Courthouse, in Glenwood Springs on Monday, the 22nd of January 2001, there were present: John Martin Larry McCown Walt Stowe Don DeFord Mildred Alsdorf Ed Green , Commissioner Chairman , Commissioner , Commissioner , County Attorney , Clerk of the Board , County Administrator when the following proceedings, among others were had and done, to -wit: RESOLUTION NO. 7 n 01 - 1 3 A RESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH THE APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION FOR A TWO FAMILY DWELLING UNIT. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, has received an application from Barbara Hauptli for a special use permit to allow for approval of a two family dwelling unit; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, held a public hearing on the 22nd day of January, 2001 upon the question of whether the above described private art studio should be granted or denied, at which hearing the public and interested persons were given the opportunity to express their opinions concerning the approval of said special use permit; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, on the basis of substantial competent evidence produced at the aforementioned hearing, has made the following determination of fact as listed below: A. That proper public notice was provided as required for the hearing before the Board of County Commissioners; B. That the hearing before the Board of County Commissioners was extensive and complete, that all pertinent facts, matters and issues were submitted and that all interested parties were heard at that meeting; C. That for the above stated and other reasons, the proposed conditional use permit is in the best interest of the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Garfield County; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado that the Two Family Dwelling Unit is hereby approved subject to compliance with all of the following specific conditions: 1. That all representations of the applicant, either written or stated at the hearing before the Board of County Commissioners, shall be considered conditions of approval. 2. That the applicant will meet all requirements of the Garfield County Zoning Resolution of 1978, as amended. 3.
