GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO
PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-1O1(1O)(a) - (d) as amended,
and the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted
September 1, 1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Sections 1.O2.17(d) and
3.02.01 , the undersigned Alan A . Storey
respectfully petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County, Colorado, to exempt by resolution One 45 4cre tract
located on i'.iissouri Heights, zoned agri-residntial, into
three 15 acre sites.
more fully hereinafter described, from the definitions of "subdivision"
and "subdivision land" as the terms are used and defined in C.R.S. (1973)
Section 30-28-1O1(a) - (d) and the Garfield County Subdivision Regulations,
for the reasons stated below: Taxes last year were ;200.00, This
year they rose to b00.00. There are no improvements on the land.
Iviy original intention was to sub -divide but 1 now recognize
that the planning dept. prefers 15 to 20 acre sites. 1concmically,
:I need to market two sites and plan to build on the remaining
site at a future date when it is paid off so that I may obtain
a construction lcan. As it is a 45 acre site would be very
difficult to market.
