Please find enclosed a detailed nanative of VoiceStream's intentions regarding the Roto Rooter
property located al0324 Corydl Ridge Road, Glenraood Springs, CO 8't601.
I Voicestream is proposing a flfty-five foot monopole with a three'sector aray at the Roto
Rooter/Jeff Wanen property. Based on recent drive test data that we have compiled and
analyzed, a fifty-flve foot monopole with a three-sector aray at the above location is required.
Poor quality resulting from ureak signal levels in the areas of Southem Glenuood Springs,
Northem Carbondale, and the Aspen Glen Golf Community raould be conected with this site
addition.
l Tu c stealth designs, a flagpole bearing the American Flag and a tree pole, rarere carefully
chosen as they present the least amount of aesthetic impact. (Ihe final decision of design
remains in the hands of the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners.)
r Should the zoning committee choose the flagpole, it will be painted the same color as the
structures on the property creating minimalvisual impact on the sunounding community. (Or
as Zoning recommends.)
o Expert landscaping will hide the fence and the equipment sunounding the VoiceStream site
year round.
o Unfortunately, there is no suitable existing structure in this area that allou,ed us to mount our
antennas on to them and still achieve the required height
o This unmanned site will only require occasional monitoring for maintenance, perhaps every
six to eight ureeks. An access road is cunently available to the site though it will be used
infrequently.

To Whom It May Concern:
For the last eiglrteen months, Voicestream Wireless has worked very diligently towards securing a site in
the Cattle Creik area. We originally located a site candidate on the Crystal River Ranch prope(y with the
SBA Company. Over flre last eiglrt to ten months, SBA has moved the site to the north by approximately a
quarter mile. Due to the radical terrain variances to the south and to the east of the proposed SBA site,
Voicestrcan Wireless was forced to conduct an additional drive test at the approved heigltt Upott
analyzing the drive test data for the SBA site candidate, Voicestream Wireless had to decline on the
opporhulity to locate on their wireless conunrurications facility. Terrain variances to the south along the
riagefine prohibit coverage past the Cattle Creek area alongHwy 82. Essentially, the handover to our
exiiting Carbondale site would not happen if Voicestrearn Wireless \^rcre to locate on the SBA site.
The proposed site at the Roto Rooter Company has been tested and does provide the coverage thd we are
looking for along Hwy 82 in ttre Cattle Creek area Should there be any additional questious pertainfug to
coverage issues or drive test data, we would be happy to share that with you.
