when the following proceedings, among others were had and done, to-wit:
RESOLUTTON NO. e2-lol
A ITESOLUTION CONCERNED WITH THE APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL USE PERMIT
APPLICATION FOR UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, has received
application lrom Union Oil Company of Calilornia lor a Special Use Permit for a Resort.
See Attached
WHEREAS, the Board held a public hearing on the lgth day of October l992,upon the
question of whel.her the above-described Special Use Permit should be granted or denied, at which
hearing the public and interested persons were given the opportunity to express their opinions
regarding the issuance of said Special Use Permit; and
WHEREAS, the Boarcl on the basis of substantial competent evidence produced at the
alorementioned hearing, has made the lollowing determination of fact:
l. That proper publication and public notice was provided as required by law for the
hearing before the Board of County Commissioners.
2. That the hearing belore the Board of County Commissioners was extensive and
complete, that all pertinent facts, matters and issues were submitted and that all
interested parties were heard at that hearing.
3. For the above stated and other reasons, the proposed use is in the best interest of the
health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of
Garfield County.

NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County, Colorado, that the Special Use Permit be and hereby is authorized permitting a Resort,
subject to the lollowing speoific conditions:
L All representaLions of the applicant, either within the application or stated before the
Board of County Commissioners shall be considered conditions of approval unless
stated otherwise by the Board.
2. That the Speoial Use Permit lor a resort shall only be valid during the time that the
mancamp approved by Resolution No. 84-193, is not in operation.
