Good Morning Everyone,
This memo is intended to inform you of a potential building height violation at 60 Puma Ct, Lot # 8, Aspen Glen
Subdivision. Based on the height survey verification form, the building height was measured at24'-7" from the proposed
ground (6025.60') to the mid-point of the sloped roof. Per the Garfield County Land Use and Development Code, Article
15, Definitions, states the height shall be measured from the average undisturbed or natural ground grade. Based on the
information provided on the submitted/approved building plans, the undisturbed natural ground elevation of 6023' was
used to verify the building height of 24' initially. Changes in the field, such as footing/foundation elevations, wall/ceiling
height, and roof pitch will adversely affect the overall building height. During a framing inspection, the building inspector
noticed structural frame changes which prompted the revised structural plans request and building height survey
verification.
ln hopes of remediating this situation, please contact the building department at your earliest convenience. Please
reference building permit number BLRE-4-14-3185 on your correspondence. As always, feel free to forward any
