A geotechnical study was published in the report "Geotechnical Investigation Subgrade Investigation and Pavement Design, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints, 1-99 Sipprelle Drive, Battlement Mesa, Colorado" dated December 10, 2009 under GEG Job No. 3,304. Soil conditions found in the open excavation were similar to subsurface conditions exposed by exploratory borings and anticipated by the referenced geotechnical study. In our opinion, no changes are warranted to the design recommendations in the geotechnical study based on open excavation conditions. We appreciate the opportunity to provide geotechnical and material testing services. Please call if we can answer any questions. Sincerely, Grand Valley Consulting, LLC Dba Geotechnical Engineering Group John Withers, PE Engineer (970) 261-3415 • jwithers@geotechnicalgroup.net 549 Pinnacle Court, Grand Junction, Colorado 81507
