Thank you for getting to this so fast. I appreciate it!
1. I have attached a copy of the plat of the subdivision as well as an improvement survey of the lot.
The plot plan (Sheet C1) used the drawing file from the improvement survey. Is this enough or do
you need something else?
2. I have not had to do this before so I am unfamiliar with the process. Do you know who I need to
contact with the fire department?

Hi Peter,
I have just completed the plan review for your proposed single family home located at Lot #1, Sunlight View 11
Subdivision, 382 Meadow Wood Rd, Glenwood Springs.
The following information is required to process the building permit for issuance.
1) For structures to be built within a building envelope, please provide a copy of the recorded subdivision final plat
with the proposed structure located in the building envelope.
2) As the fire area (main level, unfinished basement, attached garage) is over 5001 sq. ft. as outlined in the
resolution per the local fire district, please provide a copy of the proposed single family home plans to the local
fire district for review.
Once I receive confirmation of plan receipt from the fire district, and a copy of the recorded subdivision plat, I will
forward the permit for issuance. We will not delay issuance while the fire district is reviewing your plans, but will require
that their requirements are satisfied prior to Certificate of Occupancy. Thank you for your time in this request. Feel free
