PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (10) (a) -(d) as amended, and
the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted September 1,
1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Section 1.02.17 (d) and 3.02.01 the undersigned
Robert E. Carter
respectfully
petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, to
exempt by resolution the division of 14
tracts of approximately
acre tract of land into 3
5 acres each, more or less, and
which tract to be subdivided is more particularly described as follows:

See attached legal description
from the definitions of "subdivision" and "subdivision land" as the terms are used
and defined in C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (a) -(d) and the Garfield County
Subdivision Regulations, for the reasons stated below:
.Property is currently divided by an access road serving
other properties in the area. The use would be compatable
with other land uses and residential sites in the area.
In support of this petition, the petitioner also submits the following:
(a) Map drawn to scale showing proposed
lot subdivision and access
(b) Copy of deed
(c) Vicinity Map
(d) Statement on source of domestic water
(e) Statement on method of sewage disposal
(f) 100 year floodplain information where
live stream crosses or adjoins said tract

East Quarter Corner of said Section 23 hears North 89°46'08"
East 1236.81 feet; Thence South 89°46'08" West 1236.81 feet
along the southerly line of said SWINE;; thence North 00°18'13"
East 400.00 feet along the westerly line of said SW;NElt;
thence North 81°32'53" East 1267.11 feet to a point on the
easterly line of said SW;NES; thence South 01°50'21" West
581.54 feet along the easterly line of said SWkNEk to the
point of beginning.
with all its appurtenances and warrant title to the sane,
subject to:
Inclusion in any general or specific water conservancy, fire
protection, soil conservation or other district;
Reservations and rights-of-way contained in the United
States Patent recorded in Book 112 it Page 482 of the Garfield
County records;
