Andy,
CWP extension for construction was a condition of land use permit to work between Dec and Apr. Please check with
Dave Pesnichak to see if this correspondence will suffice. I believe I have the plans already to go.
Thanks,
David

David,
I wanted to email you and advise that CPW has no issue with Clean Energy Collective completing the installation of a
solar array at the Sunny Side Ranch in Carbondale. They need to pour a 12' X 12' concrete pad for equipment. CPW does
not have any wildlife concerns related to this completion of work. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at
Office 079-947-2927 or Cell 970-948-8409
Thanks Perry

RE: Sunny Side Ranch Solar Project-County Rd 100-DOW Correspondence
Thank you for your timely response regarding this condition/requirement. After discussion with our planning staff, it was
determined that we should have a more recent correspondence from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife. We can accept an
email or memo from the CPW authorizing an extension to complete the work. As soon as authorization is received, the
building permit application will be forwarded for issuance. Thanks again for your time and input with this request. Feel
free to forward any questions or concerns.

Davi d,
Pleasure speaking with you yesterday. I have attached the correspondence on project that we had with the DOW( Will
Perry & Ron Velarde)back in September before land use approval. This correspondence was presented to both David,
and Board of County Commissioners at the t ime of our approval hearing. This should serve as notification that the
project does not have adverse disturbance with wildlife and the DOW had not issues with an extension. Recently, our
land owner had the DOW on-site looking at wildlife corridors and they took no issue with the site At this time we are
well beyond our major construction activities( minus the equipment pad pour and game fencing). All our major
infrastructure was placed late November.
Please let us know if this satisfies your needs for releasing permit for the equipment pad to Sunsense . I have copied
Richard Miller our Land Manager and we would be glad to answer any additional questions.
Regards,
Chad Roach I Project M anager

Here is what I have (see below). If the Building Department does not accept this and needs an extension letter, I'll see
what I can do.
Let me know.

I do not have any issues, hopefully they can complete most of this prior to Dec.1, if not I seriously doubt it will have
major impacts, however some folks up that way are extremely sensitive to wildlife disturbance from these type
activities, so we have to answer the questions of why we are allowing extensions. Guess bottom line is Ron we would
work with them and allow an extension
