We have received the above referenced subdivision propos a l. Individual
wells are proposed as the source of water for the nine lots.
Pursuant to the recent letter from the State Engineer to the Boards of
County Commissioners dated June 12, 1981, we now consider the Colorado
River above Cameo to be subject to administration. As noted in that letter,
we are not recommending approval of subdivisions in this area which would
rely on individual wells unless supported by a court approved plan for
augmentation. We also would require an analysis of availabil i ty and depend-
ability of ground water below this subdivision.
Since this proposal is not accompanied by an approved plan for augmen-
tation, we cannot recommend its approval.
