Dear Mr. Kuersten:
Glenwood Structural prepared plans for the referenced project dated 4/19/12 and it has since come to our
attention that a below grade containment structure exists within the crawl space and is to be abandoned.
In follow up to our phone conversation, this is to specify a means of stabilization of the subgrade.
The structure to be abandoned below the crawl space should be filled to approximately crawl space grade
with a lean mix, or flow -fill, material in order to adequately support the existing structure and addition. The
flow fill should be in conformance with CDOT Standard Specifications Section 206.02.
