BEFORE. THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
GARFIELD COUNTY, COLORADO
PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101(10)(a) - (d) as amended,
and the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted
September 1, 1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Sections 1.02.17(d) and
3.02.01, the Undersigned RONALD F. KENTFIELD and NANCY A. KENTFIELD
respectfully petitions the Board of County Commissioners of Garfield
County, Colorado, to exempt by resolution a tract of land containing
approximately 13.00 acres more or less in the SW1 of Section 23, Township
7 South, Range 91 West.
more fully hereinafter described, from the definitions of "subdivision"
and "subdivision land" as the terms are used and defined in C.R.S. (1973)
Section_.30-28-101(a) - (d) and the Garfield County Subdivision Regulations,
for the reasons stated below: we presently own 44 acres in'the SW1 of Section
23, Township 7 South, Range 91 West. We would like to retain the 13 acres lying
South of the West Divide ditch as our home. The balance of the property would
be sold to pay off the Federal Land Bank. This would enable us to remodel the
old house which we presently... live in if we so ellect.

This is to acknowledge receipt of material pertaining to the above
referenced exemption which will create one additional parcel of land
being 13 acres in size and leaving 31 acres in the other parcel. Since
the 13 -acre lot has a home and well, this office would issue a household
use only well (no irrigation of lawns and gardens) for the remaining
parcel.
