Box 202 Carbondale, Colorado Dear Ms. Daniels: GARFIELD COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT GLENWOOD SPRINGS, COLORADO 81601 March 21, 1978 81623 PHONE 946-7255 As per your request, a loan inspection was conducted March 20, 1978 by this department on the property presently owned by John & Wilhelmina Eymere -0840 County Road 112 -Missouri Heights -Carbondale, Colorado. Please find attached a copy of the individual home sewage permit originally issued to Mr. Ruffin Harris for the property. This documentation verifies that at the time of installation the said system was installed in accordance with existing Garfield County and Colorado State requirements. The loan inspection revealed the said system was functioning properly with no overt problems evident. The results of the Standard Bacteriological Water Test returned by the Colorado Department of Health Laboratory showed the water supply did meet the minimum requirements for water purity for the month of March, 1978. The fee for this service is $25.00 payable to the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder. Your remittance should be delivered to our department. Dear Miss Daniels: The above referenced water system consists of the following : 1. 250 Deep Wel 1 , 5 1/2" Casing 2. Model CP-4E2-7 Sta-Rite Submersible Pump, l Hp. 3. 50 Gallon Pressure Tank 4. Distribution Piping The system functions as follows: As water i s drawn from the system the pressure decreases in the pressure tank. When the pressure drops to 40 psi, the submersible pu mp in the well is automatically started and will continue to pump until a pressure of 70 psi is reached. The well was drilled in June of 1966. The well log filed with the Colorado Division of Water Resources reports that this well test pumped at 10 gpm (State Engineer 1 s No. 27,495). In June, 1972 wate r rights for the well were applied for. The application was app r oved and fi l ed with the Water Cl erk in Water Court, Division No. 5 on December 13, 1972. (Case No . 1343.) The date of app r opriation is June 24, 1966 and the amou nt of water claimed is 0.023 cfs or .10.3 gpm. Water Use consists of the following: .. 1. Household use: Approximately 500 gpd. 2 . Swimming Pool: 1200 gal every second day. (Summer only.) 3. Stock Watering: 100 gp~. 4. Garden and Lawn Watering: 600 gp d . From the above uses, peak demand on the system is es t imated to be 8 .3 3 gpm .
