If the split of Tract 4, Chelyn Acres, owned by Allan Bowles is allowed, I intend to purchase the upper or West Tract, and supply water to it from my Domestic Well located on Tract 5, next to the purchased ground. The County Commissioners, as you remember, have previously okayed the split of Tract 5, pending a survey. The wells proposed as the water supply would intercept ground water which is tributary to Four Mile Creek, an over -appropriated stream. Since new wells could cause the injury to senior vested water rights, well permits cannot be issued by this office and we cannot recommend approval of the Bowles Exemption.
