Dear Mr. Witkowski:
Please find enclosed herewith a completed petition for
exemption for the formation of 3, 2 acre lots and 1, 49
acre lot on a 55 acre parcel located within the above
referenced ranch that you recently spoke with Bob Saxe
about. The map for the proposed subdivision and vicinity
location is also enclosed.
We propose to drill one well to furnish domestic water
to the three, two acre parcels and potentially to the larger
parcel also. We propose to handle the sewage with on-site
disposal systems which will be constructed in compliance
with the county regulations and be the responsibility of
the purchaser of the lots. The proposed area does not
fall within the 100 year floodplain.
Should you have any questions concerning the above, please
contact me or Bob Saxe at your convenience.
Very truly yours,

Dear Stephanie:
Thank you for your call of yesterday afternoon concerning
the domestic well for the above referenced property. Please
forward a copy of the states response concerning the well
together with the resolution approving the variance. As I
mentioned, we do have good adjudicated water rights with
the ranch and feel we can satisfy the state as it relates
to application for domestic well.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Re: Armstrong, Richards and Rosgren,
and Hackett Exemptions
We have reviewed the material submitted concerning the above referenced
applications for exemption. All three proposals are located on or near streams
that are considered critical (over -appropriated) . As proposed, all the parcels
will obtain water from individual wells drilled into tributary aquifers . Because
these streams are critical, this office cannot issue permits for individual
wells without a court approved plan for augmentation or change in point of
diversion. Due to this, we cannot recommend approval of the Armstrong,
Richards and Rosgren, and Hackett Exemptions as presently proposed.
