Golden Bair Dear Mr. Van Slyke: Enclosed is an exemption request. As you can see, the land owner proposes to use a spring and water tank as a source of domestic water. However, I would like to know if individual well permits can be issued in this area, in the event that an adjudication or decree of the spring has not been affected. Although the springs would obtain water which is tributary to the Colorado River, a new well permit could not be issued on the 2 acres of land which is less than 35 acres, due to the winter call at the Shoshone Power Plant.
