I completed an inspection of the visible portions of the foundation and have concluded that the foundation was constructed in a manner that is consistent with generally accepted construction methods. In discussing the foundation construction with Mr. Groth, he stated that he complied with the minimum requirements for reinforcing steel in the concrete and he used a concrete mix that exceeds the minimum requirements for single family residential foundations in Garfield County, Colorado. I did not perform testing of the foundation (destructive or non-destructive) as the foundation has not shown any flaws or defects from installation in 2009. In conclusion, based on the above facts, it is my professional opinion that the foundation meets the minimum building code requirements for single family residential construction (a higher standard than barns) for Garfield County, Colorado. If you have any additional questions or comments please do not hesitate to call me at the above number. William :°1Foung P.E. Col t'+r : 06 JVA,
