HomeMy WebLinkAboutLetter Assuming Repsonsibility from Swamp Cooler DamageE. Mac McShane, Psy.D. Licensed Clinical Psychologist McShane & Calvin, PC 950 South Cherry Street — Suite 421 Denver, Colorado 80246 Telephone (303) 757-5446 August 22, 2013 To Whom it may concern: email: macm@prodigy.net Cynthia Calvin and I own the house at 486 Schooner Lane, Carbondale, Colorado 81623, which has recently been completed by Hayes Construction. I have been asked to write a letter for the inspector for Garfield County Building Dept. regarding the evaporative cooler (Swamp Cooler), which has been placed in our attic. We are aware that it is crucial that we do yearly maintenance in the fall to drain the swamp cooler so that it does not freeze and cause damage. We are aware that swamp coolers are often placed outside of the house so that any problems resulting in leaks will not cause damage within the house. We accept responsibility for the yearly maintenance and will not hold Garfield County responsible if there is a leak in this unit due to any cause. Please contact me if you have any questions on this. Sincerely yours, E. Mac McShane
