Village Truss Snow Load Dear Clint: (970) 963-9643 • Fax (970) 963-0135 www .MaggertEngineers.com Maggert and Associates, Inc. is the engineer of record for the above stated project & it was brought to our attention that the trusses provided by Noble Truss were designed for a 35 pounds per square foot snow load rather than the 40 required by the city of Parachute. · Per the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado a Colorado registered Engineer may make additional amendments concerning snow load. Maggert and Associates, Inc. and ITW Building Components Group, Inc. have coordinated and concluded that the trusses provided are sufficient as originally provided by Noble Truss Colorado. See attached calculations. In addition there is a mechanical unit hung from the trusses in the garage that is within the dead load limits. If there are any additional questions or concerns regarding this matter please call or e- mail.
