Re: Repairs at 268 Larkspur Drive (Hill Residence)
Dear Sir:
Please be aware that personnel from Pattillo Associates Engineers prepared the approved
foundation underpinning repair plans at the above address and conducted periodic
inspections of construction performed by Hayward -Baker of Broomfield, Colorado. As
originally approved, 23 underpinning piles were specified, and during construction, it
was decided to add 12 more piles along the east and north sides of the north garage bay.
The drawings were subsequently modified by our office to include the approximate as -
built locations for all piers. Please refer to the attached (reduced) Sheets S 1 and S2, dated
November 26, 2012.
Based on our involvement with this project, including field inspections and discussions
with the contractor, we believe that the specified construction work was completed in a
satisfactory manner and in general compliance with the sealed plans.
