CO 81601 Office: 970-945-8212 Fax: 970-384-3470 In review of our building permit application files, we found your application which was filed at least 180 days ago. As per the 2009 International Residential Code, Section R105.3.2: An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have been abandoned 180 days after the date of filing unless such application has been pursued in good faith or a permit has been issued.... Your building permit application has been approved for issuance on September 11, 2014. Please be advised, building permits are deemed active for 180 days from date of issuance, and will remain active for 180 days from the date of an inspection. If no activity occurs within the 180 days, the permit will be deemed expired. As per the 2009 International Residential Code, Section R105.5, the building official may grant one or more extensions of time, for no more than 180 days each. The extension shall be requested in writing and justifiable cause demonstrated. In hopes of issuing your permit, please contact us within ten (10) business days of the date of this letter regarding your application. If we do not hear from you, we will deem your application abandoned and dispose of your file and plans. Thank you for your timely response in this matter. On May 13, 2015, I received a message from owner kirk Carlson who informed me the project has been cancelled. Mr. Carlson gave verbal permission to close the file and dispose of the plans.
