PETITION FOR EXEMPTION
Pursuant to C.R.S. (1973) Section 30-28-101 (10) (a) -(d) as amended, and
the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield County, Colorado, adopted September 1,
1972 and amended April 14, 1975, Section 1.02.17 (d) and 3.02.01 the undersigned
respectfully
petitions the Boar. of County Commissioners o Garfield,. County, Colorado, to

Ivie Exemptions
We have reviewed the material submitted for the above referenced
applications for exemption. The developer proposes to use wells for the
water supply which would intercept ground water tributary to the Colorado
River at a point where there is still water available for appropriation.
This office can issue individual domestic well permits to individual lot
purchasers and we recommend approval of the Peterson, Biship, Keithley,
and Ivie Exemptions.

Re: Application for an Amended Plat - Keithley Subdivision Exemption, Garfield County
Colorado
Dear Commissioners,
On behalf of C.R. Commercial Properties, Inc., I am submitting an application to Garfield
County requesting a second amendment to the Amended Keithley Exemption Subdivision
Plat located near Silt, Colorado. The proposed amendment would not increase the number
of subdivision lots, does not add new roads or cause relocation of existing roads.
The Amended Keithley Exemption Plat was approved by the Board of County
Commissioners in January 1995. The exemption subdivided the 69.08 acre parcel into two
(2) parcels consisting of 59.08 and 10.0 acres respectively.
C.R. Commercial Properties, Inc. desires to further amend the plat by adjusting the existing
lot lines between the two (2) parcels thus reconfiguring the shape and size of the parcels.
The two (2) parcels would be 53.86 and 15.22 acres respectively.
Thre reason for the amendment request is that a potential purchaser is interested in aquiring
the easterly 15.22 acres of the parcel for future development. The reconfiguration would
satisfy both the owner's and purchaser's contractural arrangement for purchase of the 15.22
acre parcel.
We feel that the request is reasonable, does not increase the number of lots, does not add
or cause relocation of existing roads and is in keeping with Section 6:00 & 6:10 of the
Garfield County Subdivision Regulations and as authorized by C.R.S Section 30-28-
133(a).
