The following recommendations are offered regarding the construction of an Onsite
Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) for your residence:
Design Criteria
Number of Bedrooms: 3
LTAR: 0.30 gpd/SF 1
Size Adjustment Factor 0.7 2
Results
The above design criteria results in a septic tank size of 1,000 gallons;
The average daily design flow is 450 gallons per day;
The total amount of absorption area required is 1,500 square feet;
The reduced absorption area using chambers is 1,050 square feet;
The total number of chambers (10 12 SF/Chamber) required is 88.
Therefore, the leach field shall consist of:
Four lines with twenty-two Quick4 Standard Chambers in each line (88` length per line)
connected with a distribution box to the septic tank outlet tee. See attached Site Plan
and system details.
