WHEREAS, Glen A. Haff and Rose ZelJa Haff have petitioned the Boand of
County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, for an exemption fuom the
definition of the terms "subdivisionrr and'rsubdivided landrrunder C.R.S. 7973,
3O-28-101(10)(a)-(d), as amended, and the Subdivision Regulations of Garfield
County, Colorado, adopted Septemben 1, 1972 and amended Apnil 14, 1975, Sections
7.O2.17(d) and 3.O2.O7, for the division of a O.82 ac::e tract into two (2) tracts
of appr.oximately 0.8 acres hereinafter tract 'rA'r and 0.02 acnes hereinafter tract
"Brr, more on less, and said tract rrBrt is more particularly descnibed as follows:

A pareel of land situated in Lot 15 of Section 7, Township 7 South,
Range B8 West of the Sixth Pnincipal Meridian, lying northwesterly
of the Northwesterly right-of-way line of a County Road as eonstructed
and in p1ace, said parcel of land is described as fol-lows:
Beginning at a point on the Northwestenly right-of-way fine of said
County Road whence a monument for the Southeast Cornen of said lot
15 bears s. 56008116" E.,542.45 feet; thence S. 53o0Br57rt H., 56.05
feet along the Nonthwestenly right-of-way line of said County Road;
thence Nonth 31.64 feet; thence N. 87009t00'r E.,45.27 feet to a point
on the Northwestenly right-of-way line, the point of beginning.
The above parcel of land contains 0.02 acres, more or less.
WHEREAS, the Petitionens have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Board
of County Comnrissioners of Garfield County, Colorado, that they desire said
exemption for the purpose of transfer of said tract "Brr to Francis E. Bargen
and Del1a M. Bangen, to be used in conjunction with an adjoining tract of land
owned by I{::. and l"Irs. Bargen, and. furthen, that the sale of said tnact rrBrr
will not create a third party ownership; and
WHEREAS, the Petitioners have demonstnated to the satisfaction of the Boand
of County Commissioners of Garfield County, Colonado that the requested division
is in accordance with the general pr::rposes and intent of the Subdivision Regulations
of the State of Colonado and the County of C.anfiel-d and should thenefore be exempted
from the definition of the terms 'rsubdivision" and "subdivided land" as set forth
in C.R.S. 1973, 30-28-101(fO)(a)-(d), as amendedl
NOW, TFEREFOPS, upon the motion of Flaven J. Cerise, seconded by Richard C.
Jolley, and carnied, said 0.82 acre tract of land is hereby exempted from such
definitions and said tnact nray be divided into two (2) tracts of 0.8 and 0.02
acres, more o:r less, al'l as is nrore fulIy described above, and said divided tnact
may be conveyed in the form of such smallen tracts without further compliance

with the aforesaid subdivision statutes and negulations. A copy of the
instrument on instruments of conveyance when necorded shaI1 be filed with
this Resolution.
