In our discussions the Director determined that the assessor valuation is sufficient to meet the criteria in the Unified Land Use Resolution of 2008 (ULUR). My calculation results in a fee of $2,338.99. The following calculation was used to arrive at the amount of the fee: Land Valuation of $195,000 on 52,739 square feet (current lot size) results in a square footage value of the land of $3.70. Lot 2 square footage is 31,608 which, when multiplied by $3.70 results in a land value for that lot of $116,949.60. The ULUR stipulates the single family Land Generation Standard (.020) which is factored by the land value. .020 * $116,949.60 results in the fee of $2,338.99. Please submit a check for the $2,338.99, made out to the Garfield County Treasurer. Also, submit the signed mylar and recording fees ($21.00 made out the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder). Once we receive all of the above the plat will be scheduled on the next available consent agenda for Board of County Commissioner signature.
