When reviewing a plan and it's discovered that required information has not been provided by the applicant, this will result in the delay of the permit issuance and in proceeding with building construction. The owner or contractor shall be required to provide this information before the plan review can proceed. Other plans that are in line for review may be given attention before the new information may be reviewed after it has been provided to the Building Department. Please review this document to determine if you have enough information to design your project and provide adequate information to facilitate a plan review. Also, please consider using a design professional for assistance in your design and a construction professional for construction of your project. Any project with more than ten (10) occupants requires the plans to be sealed by a Colorado Registered Design Professional. Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 RE: PLANS FOR GARAGE - LOT 11 Rich and Deannq The Westbank Mesa Homeowner's Board of Directors, along with the input of the ACC committee, are providing approval to the following requests: The dimensions of the garage The roof pitch of 6/12 (altered verbally by the homeowner) The roof color and material to match the house The fascia color of green to match the house The stucco color to match the house The option of a 3' x 3' window on the south side of the garage Pop -out stucco surrounding all garage doors and optional window 4 exterior lanterns to match (as closely as possible) those on the house (verbally by homeowner) Retaining walls (2) on either side elevation held in place by appropriate landscape block (verbally by homeowner) No "lites" (windows) in the garage doors (altered verbally by homeowner) The Board rejected the request to leave the new garage doors white. The Board also rejects the request to paint the existing garage doors white. The Board feels that stark white would draw attention to the large surface area of the garage doors (new and existing) and white is not used in the color scheme of the house (window true, fascia, other doors, etc.). Please submit a color that you plan to use. The Board requests that you provide a scale of the elevation drawings and indicate drainage and runoff. Due to the elevation behind the house (and garage) this is a very important matter. Please submit the requested items and any other change in plans to the ACC.
