The following is provided as requested for the Jimmy Sills Pump House Addition and the
following conditions of my approval:

In review of the Pump House Addition Drawings dated 3/10/08 (shts 1-5), this
letter provides engineering approval of the substitution of CMU's (concrete
masonry units) for the referenced design of a poured-in-place concrete
foundation.
The steel reinforcement is confirmed to be #5 Rebar@ 16" O.C. Veltical and
#5 Rebar@ 16" O.C. Horizontal.
Maximum foundation height 8' -8".
Gout confirmed to be 3,000 psi premix from Casey Concrete.
Footing built per design and inspected by others confirmed by Heritage
Masonry, LLC.
Soils (geotechnical) inspection report and open-hole inspection by others under
separate cover (not included). An allowable soil bearing capacity of2,000 PSF
has been used in calculations. The foundation will be redesigned and ~,,11 ,\l!lill!/,1,1,
