NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissionersof Garfield County, as follows:
1. That the public rights of way described on the plat of theoriginal Townsite of Cardiff, recorded in Book I , at Page 26 of the
Garfield County records and located within that portion of the Cardiff
Townsite described on the replat recorded January 9 , 1985 as Reception No.
358620 of said records are hereby vacated, subject to and conditioned uponthe dedication of Darrow Street as described on said replat.
2. That pursuant to such vacation it is the understanding of the
Board of County Commissioners of Garfield County that such property shal1vest in title to the abutting property owner.
3. Such vacation does not leaveright-of-way withouL an established public

County Manager Stan Broome discussed CCI Risk Fund Managenent. All of thedounties except eight are interested in joining. Mr. Broome also discussed theinterviews made _for the county position of maintenance and security withapartment included.
l"ggt Ludwig discussed the Corp Cornmittee. There will be a meeting september6, I9B4 at 1:30 p.m. The State Impact meeting will be Septernber 17, lB, and19.
Regarding the Economic Developxnent Sunrnit meeting, the meetings will be held inthe Hote1 Colorado and the agenda has been set.
Upon the reguest of Dale Hancock, Cornmunity Correction Director, ConrnissionerCerise made a motion that the Chairman be iuthorized to sign a Resolutionconcerned with the Law Enforcement Assistant Fund project foi Garfield Countyand the contract for $41,000.00. Conrnissioner orininouse seconded the motion;carried.
County Road and Bridge Supervisor Leonard Bow1by discussed the settlernent withI{ary Rowland who agreed to sign an easement deed giving Garfield County rightto the barrow pit if the counly would provide a ditch and culvert on drivewav.
