We conducted research to determine the current holders of mineral rights for Lots C, 17, 18, 19 and %z of
Lot 20 on Block 9 in the Townsite of Cooperton. We reviewed our title work and deeds to the property,
copies of which are included in this packet. Many of the documents linked to our title (by
Commonwealth Title) do not specifically reference our Block or Lots so we are unsure of their
pertinence..however they do indicated that a Harald Pabst may be the owner of our mineral rights. In an
effort to clarify things, we also went to the Clerk and Recorders office and searched their database for
further information. Copies of those findings are also included here. We were able to trace the
ownership of our land back to 1961 with the sale of our land from Cam and Anna Squires to Kenneth
and Margaret Elliott. We did find documentation that indicates that Harald Pabst may have sold the
land to Cam and Anna Squires in 1949 while withholding his mineral, gas, and oil rights, again indicating
that he may still be the current holder. However the description of the land sold in this document was
unclear and we are not certain that our Lots are included in this description. We have not been able to
find a current address for Harald Pabst.
